Sam Pattisapu (born 15 March 1996) is an entrepreneur and technology founder based in Helsinki, Finland. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Smart Pulse Oy, a Finnish technology company that builds digital products, software and intelligent business solutions.

Smart Pulse Oy is the company behind SmartPulse, a customer capture platform for service businesses, SmartPulse Solutions, and Kanava. Pattisapu's work centres on entrepreneurship, product development, artificial intelligence and business automation. Alongside his work in technology he is also an author and a music artist.

Early career

Before entering technology, Pattisapu competed as a professional basketball player. He has described the discipline, teamwork and resilience developed through professional sport as the foundation of his later entrepreneurial work.

He moved from sport into business, founding Aventis International, a digital marketing agency working with startups and small businesses on branding, web development, search engine optimisation and digital marketing.

He later founded Dentora Healthcare, a venture focused on improving patient communication and healthcare technology through digital innovation. Together these ventures formed the entrepreneurial foundation that led to the creation of SmartPulse.

Smart Pulse Oy

Pattisapu founded SmartPulse in Helsinki in 2024 after identifying a recurring problem among service businesses across Europe: customers are lost every day because calls go unanswered, enquiries are missed, and follow-ups arrive too late.

He serves as Founder and CEO of Smart Pulse Oy (business ID 3655448-6), leading the company's product direction from Helsinki. The company develops software for home service industries including plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, locksmithing, cleaning, roofing, pest control and appliance repair.

Work in artificial intelligence

Pattisapu's product work applies conversational and voice artificial intelligence to customer communication. The SmartPulse platform answers inbound calls in natural conversation, recovers missed calls through automated SMS follow-up, continues the conversation with the customer, and books confirmed appointments on a real calendar.

He discussed artificial intelligence innovation and emerging technology in an interview with Authority Magazine, and startup building in a second interview with the same publication.

Kanava

Kanava is one of the products developed under Smart Pulse Oy, alongside SmartPulse and SmartPulse Solutions. It is published at kanavaapp.fi, where Pattisapu is credited as founder.

Pattisapu has published books and creative works focused on entrepreneurship, resilience, innovation and personal growth.
